The Heart Of Paradox by Ruchi Acharya.

Dearth is not in empty vaults,

But in the struggle to rest on your mother’s lap.

Failure is not found in grades,

But in abandoning the justice of a commoner’s faith.

Liberty is not in fortune,

But in witnessing a calf feel its first breeze.

Love is not in the act itself,

But in the thrill of drawing a grenade’s pin for one’s country.

Sex is not a lustful liaison,

But a gateway to untold spiritual realms.

Reincarnation is not in hollow devotion,

But in turning broken dreams into unwavering determination.

Victory is not a digit,

But not counting a chakra’s merit

Deprives one of it.

Poetry is not in metaphors,

But in prayers attuned to the service of mankind.

Death is not the end-

But without amends the soul

Descends, stuck in its vicious loop

Trapped in time.
